Is it free to join and use Established?
Yes, it is free to join and use Established, apply to any job and post any job. There is no trial period or hidden costs. It is free to use. If you want to become a Pro Member you can, this allows you to put your application or profile at the top of the pile.
How do I become a member of Established?
Just sign up! No credit cards or bank details are needed. You will be asked to provide a PDF copy of your CV so we can confirm that you have the sufficient experience to benefit from joining the network.
Can my company have a profile on the site?
No, only individuals can join and use the site. The site is for experienced, professional, freelance crew. Only individuals can post jobs, however, all job postings are anonymous.
Why do I have to prove my experience to become a member?
To be a useful tool for productions and members alike, maintaining the standard of members is essential. This is not a network for amateur filmmakers. We only accept members who have substantial experience on professional productions, features, TV drama, commercials, or promos. Short films are disregarded.
I have joined the site, been approved, but can't apply for any jobs, why?
You must complete your profile and add at least 5 credits to your account before you can apply for jobs. This is to ensure that all profiles are relevant, showing the essential information.
Do I have to have a public profile?
No, you do not have to make your profile public to use the site, you simply will not have your profile included in the Find Crew section, but can still apply to any job.
I have 3 credits in one role but want to register and apply for jobs in another - do I still qualify?
We look for professional experience, a duration in the industry of at least 3 years and at least 5 professional credits. You can apply to any role on the site once you are a member, however, we expect all members to only apply to appropriate roles for them.
Can you join if you live in outside of the UK?
How do I post a job on the site?
There are two ways: 1. Non registered members can use the Job Form; 2. Registered members can also use the Job Form or once logged in use the link on the dashboard.
When I post a job are my details and the productions made public?
No, all adverts are anonymous. Your details and the productions remain confidential.
Is there a charge to post a job on the site?
No, there is no charge to post any job or any number of jobs on the site even if you successfully use one or more of the members of the network. All jobs, however, must be on professional, paid productions.
How do I review the CVs?
All the applications can be accessed online via our bespoke system that allows you to sort, filter and shortlist the CVs quickly and easily. The quick view displays shared networks, references, and credits. CVs are a click away and can be downloaded and printed. Colleagues can be emailed the applications or just the shortlisted CVs.
What type of jobs are posted on here?
Only crew jobs on professional productions can be listed. All must be paid. No amateur projects.
What are the benefits of becoming a Pro member?
The Pro Membership is there for members who want to put themselves out there a little bit more, your application goes to the top of the pile, your profile contains all your network, references and whenever a relevant Find Crew search is performed, you come out on top. It's the ultimate way to get noticed and get a job quickly.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your membership at any time, just log into the site and to go Your Account - Subscription. The minimum period of subscription is one month. Your subscription will be canceled with no further payments taken from your account, however, until your subscription expiry, you will still be able to enjoy the Pro features.
How much is it to become a Pro member?
The cost of Pro Membership is £9.99 per month.
How do I change the emails I receive?
Members have the option of receiving all emails, select emails or none at all. Everything is controlled in the Preferences section when you are logged in. You can choose to receive only Job Alert Emails regarding jobs that you are interested in.
How do I stop people from Messaging me?
Once logged in, go to Preferences and untick the relevant box. It will instantly stop all future messages until re-ticked.
How do I update my profile?
When logged in go to Preferences or email info@established.network.
How do I search the database of crew?
Go to Find Crew, this lists the members who have public profiles. Pro members are placed first. To access the all the contact details and to message the members, you must be a member and be logged into the site.
How do I contact anyone on the database?
Some members choose to put their contact details on their profiles, others prefer to be messaged via the facility on the site. To message someone, you must be a member of the site and be logged in.
How do I search for a specific person?
Simply enter their name in the search box, if they have a public profile then they will appear.
How do I filter the profiles by location, credits, skills or diversity criteria?
The process is the same on the Find Crew page and also when you have posted a job and are searching the applications to that specific role. Use the Show Filters button which will reveal the criteria that be can filtered.
What is the purpose of the networking feature?
We all want to work with people we can trust to perform their job well. Personal recommendations make up a huge part of the industry, so we have made them an important part of the network. We recommend that you add as many people to your network as possible, so when a recruiter looks at your profile, it instantly flags up to them that you have a shared contact who can be messaged for a reference.
How do I contact another Established member?
Once logged in, any member who has set their messaging function as active can be messaged by another member.
How does the messaging feature work?
You will receive an email when someone has messaged you and it will show in your Network Connections. You can reply to them via the Network Connections page like any other messaging system. When a message is sent, the recipient also receives an email.
